Preventable Tragedy in Norway Today

Prime Minister Harper;

(Open letter to Canadian Prime Minister)

I heard on the radio that you ‘offered condolences’ to the people of Norway.  That is the very LEAST you could’ve done.  A much more consoling thing you could do is to show Norway, Canada and the world that you want to prevent such senseless crimes of occurring again – and again – and again!

You should know how to stop these crimes from occurring because I have tried to tell you how, over and over and over again.  Will you listen this time?  Is the murder of 80+ young people in Norway enough of a heinous atrocity to catch your attention, or will it need to be even worse than this?

I’ve written to you personally (unanswered), I’ve written to your minister of justice (unanswered), I’ve written to the CBC (unanswered), I’ve spoken with your Conservative Member of Parliament in Grande Prairie (I was rebuffed by a man who refused to even try to understand a new concept).  Each and all who I’ve contacted or tried to contact are EQUALLY as GUILTY of this horrible situation in Norway, as the actual shooter is!

A great many crimes, and especially those like the mass murder in Norway are EASILY and PAINLESSLY preventable!  These are happening for a logical reason and they will continue to increase in both the number of occurrences and the severity, until the true CAUSE is identified and rectified.        I KNOW the cause and I KNOW how to fix it!  This is what I’ve been trying to tell you!  I even ran in the last Canadian federal election as an independent in an attempt to get a soap box to have this heard from.

Now in the aftermath of the tragedy in Norway, where so many teens lost their lives and where so many innocent families are grieving over what was a preventable occurrence, are you ready listen? And to act in the protection of society? Or will you continue to blindly support a crime-against-humanity that is killing, raping, robbing, and assaulting us all on a scale worse than even the Nazi Holocaust?

Wouldn’t your presenting an actual solution to most seemingly senseless crimes be a statement of more value to the people of Norway, Canada, and the world, that an empty offer of your ‘condolences’ is?
